I just took a walk in this misty-rainy weather to wash away anything technical and work-related consuming my brain all day, making space for some artistic and creative inspiration. Along the way I took some nature-inspired pictures on my iPhone 5 and wanted to share. Plus, it has been a while since I’ve posted my “inspiration of the day” so…here it is!
I love the rain. I find it soothing and serene. I especially love when rain tickles the grass with dewdrops. It’s like little drops of heaven making everything on earth better. Playful. Carefree. Happy. I’m probably the only person I know who wouldn’t mind walking around in the rain (maybe not like pouring rain with thunder and lightning or anything, but just lightly enough…) to feel inspired. I love nature, what can I say?
There’s something about dead trees that fascinates me. May it be something ending, may it be a beginning of a new life, or may it be an indication of internal suffering – whatever it may be, to me, it’s beautiful.
Saw a baby pine cone while walking so I thought, what the hey? 😉 In a way, this pine cone is me – wandering around, completely lost, in the middle of the road, just waiting for something…
You see, wanderingtummie isn’t always wandering into restaurants; she also wanders around aimlessly in naturesque places – sometimes getting lost – just to take pictures of pretty things she finds. Hey, we all need hobbies. 😉
