Thai Chili, Orange, CA

Thai Chili, Orange, CA. Mee krob, fried rice, chicken, Thai food, Thai restaurant, spicy food

Closest Thai restaurant in my area but I go here not just for the convenience, but the food is actually yummy. Also, partially because I like supporting small restaurants, seeing how they’re not very busy during weeknights. Artsy decor, homely atmosphere, overall clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend the spicy fried rice and crab fried rice. I only wish they gave more than just one measly piece of crab claw that lays on top of the dish. For $12 a plate, I think they can afford to throw in 2 or 3.

Mee krob, crispy and sweet (left). Just a little too sweet. After a while you’ll feel like you’re eating noodle candy.

Chicken with bamboo shoots (center). The bamboo shoots are kind of sour, but that’s balanced out by the spicy flavor so that’s OK.

Spicy fried rice with chicken. Just spicy enough, not too overwhelming.
