What’s better than a meat-iful lunch that has nothing but sweet and savory BBQ chicken, BBQ ribs, BBQ brisket, with mashed potatoes, mac and cheese? To have it catered right to your work place so you don’t have to do anything, that’s what! 😀
My workplace has a monthly companywide lunch that caters various food, including taco bar, El Pollo Loco, some Italian stuff, and sandwiches. Today, however, was hands-down the best of them all: BBQ ribs, chicken, and brisket from Blake’s Place Cafe and Catering in Anaheim, CA. I’ve never actually eaten at this cafe but from the look of today’s catered BBQ goodness I might have to pay a visit some time. The meat is smothered in smoky and savory BBQ sauce making it nice and tender rather than dry and burnt. Mashed potatoes and mac and cheese make perfect sides. I was in heaven. 😉
There’s only one thing that would make this day better, and that’s receiving this at the end of the day, just because… Yup, a ‘rare’ gesture, indeed. ;D
